Zhengzhou China International Shaolin Wushu Festival is a comprehensive festival integrated with Wushu, tourism and culture exchange. In the spirit of friendship, communication, and common progress, Zhengzhou China International Shaolin Wushu Festival has been successfully held 7 times since 1991. Athletes from all continents more than 60 countries and regions have participated in this grand festival.

The 8th Zhengzhou China International Shaolin Wushu Festival, which is organized by General Administration of Sports of China and The People’s Government of Henan Province and undertaken by Chinese Wushu Association, Sports Bureau of Henan Province and People’s Municipal Government of Zhengzhou, will be held in Zhengzhou from October 21 to 26, 2010. Besides Wushu competition, there is a series of activities including opening ceremony, greeting ceremony, Zen Music Shaolin Grand Ceremony and summit forum on Wushu.
