Ambassador Yu Hong Attends the Nepal Chinese Guide Association (NECGA) Inauguration Ceremony

On August 31st, Chinese Ambassador Yu Hong attended the Inauguration Ceremony of Nepal Chinese Guide Association (NECGA) in Nepal Tourism Board. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Hon. Mr. Krishna Bahadur Mahara, President of NECGA Mr. Apulal Awale, MPs, Government Officials, and representatives from commercial institutions and think-tanks attended the ceremony.

Ambassador Yu congratulated the establishment of Nepal Chinese Guide Association (NECGA) and expressed China's support for China-Nepal tourism cooperation. She hoped that Nepali government could protect the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese tourists, improve the tourism infrastructure, strengthen tourism promotion towards Chinese market, and train more excellent tour guides with the understanding of Chinese language and culture.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mahara highlighted that the Belt and Road Initiative will further enhance bilateral relations between Nepal and China to a new height. He hoped that NECGA could play a positive role in strengthening people-to-people and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
