In the past, all the noblemen, Living Buddha, local officials got up early on Shoton festival in order to attend the Yogurt banquet held in Norbu Linka. There they accompanies the Dalai Lama watching Tibetan opera . The performance was held on the open stage made of stone and over the stage , there is a huge yellow tent which looks like golden cloud floating in the sky. the Dalai Lama sat at the beside the stage watching performance with noblemen around him .During the Shoton festival, Norbu Linka will open to the common people for five days and all the Tibetans wear their colorful clothes and all their jewelry to this " treasure park" with all kinds of food .
