| On February 20, 2006, H.E. Li Jinjun, Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines turned over US$ 250, 000 donation in check of the Chinese Government to Hon. Alberto Romulo, Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs, and confirmed US$ 750,000 worth of emergency material assistance for the victims of the massive landslide in Southern Leyte.
