The Seventh Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM 7) will be held in Beijing in October 2008. Detailed arrangements for media accreditation are as follows:

    Foreign journalists interested in covering the event are requested to register on-line at the official ASEM7 website (http://www.asem7.cn), providing a commissioning letter from their editors, from 10 July to 20 September. Please note that the registration will close on 20 September.

    Foreign journalists traveling with official delegations from the participating countries or international organizations are requested both to register on-line and to apply to their relevant authorities, who should enclose the name list of journalists and equipments list to the Chinese embassies or consulates via official Note.

    The information on media arrangements, press cards pick-up and etc. will be released later on the official website.
