Non-cash payments will be introduced by the Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh from July 1st, 2010. Applicants for Chinese passports, travel documents, notarization, legalization, visas, Hong Kong documents and etc will be limited to pay in:

1.     DEBIT CARD

2.     COMPANY CHEQUE (Payee as "Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh")

3.     POST ORDER (Payee as "Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh")

Those whose collecting dates (shown on the pick-up form) are between June 1st and June 30th , 2010 will enjoy the flexibility of payments either in cash or in non-cash as a transitional arrangement. However, the transitional period will end at 12:00 noon on June 30th, 2010.
