Welcome to cover U.S. President Bush's working visit to China on Feb. 21-22, 2002. The following information will help you to familiarize with our arrangements.

I.The Basic Card (ID card, with photo) would be issued to all the accredited media members covering U.S. President's visit. The Pool Pass is required to cover related activities as well. One Pool Pass is effective only for one designated event, and must be worn together with the Basic Card.

II.All the media members accredited with Pool Pass should go through the security check in advance at West Wing, Level 1, Shangri-La Hotel, and then take the shuttle buses provided by Host Media Center to the event venues.

III.There would be number limitation for media members with Pool Pass attending spot-coverage activities. The Pool Passes would be issued to certain media members according to venue situation and pool arrangements.
