On March 14, 2005, the spokesperson of Pakistani Foreign Ministry indicated in a speech that Pakistan adheres to the "one China" policy, believing, as always, that Taiwan is part of China and hoping Taiwan can return to the motherland as early as possible. Pakistan appreciates and fully supports all the efforts made by China to realize national reunification, including the recent adoption of the Anti-Secession Law.
