The Chinese community in the Philippines strongly support the Anti-Secession Law passed by China's National People's Congress on the 14th and viewed it as a "law for peace". They believe that the law is conducive for maintaining cross-strait relations and the stability of the Asia-Pacific region. The Philippine Association for the Peaceful Unification of China, the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Associations and other major Chinese associations of the Philippines published their full page messages on local Chinese newspapers on Tuesday. On 18, March, Filipino-Chinese Amity Club will host a large conference to study and discuss the law.
