Tajikistan Supports the NPC of China to Pass the Anti-Secession Law

2005/03/17

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan delivered a note to the Chinese Embassy in Tajikistan on March 15, 2005.

The Tajik side reaffirmed its consistent position on the Taiwan issue, which is reflected in the political documents signed by the two countries. The essence of the position is that the government of the People's Republic of China is the sole legitimate government representing China and Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory. The Tajik government reaffirmed not to engage in official relations of any type with Taiwan. The policy of Tajikistan aims at recognizing, safeguarding and supporting the integrity and reunification of China.
