On March 16, 2005, Le Dzung, the Spokesperson of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry answered the questions of journalists concerning the adoption of the Anti-Secession Law by the National People's Congress (NPC) of China. Vietnam unswervingly sticks to the one-China position. Taiwan is an inalienable part of China. Vietnam opposes any form of separatist activities in Taiwan, understands the aspiration of the Chinese people to realize national reunification and fully supports the Chinese government and people to achieve peaceful reunification.
