On March 15, 2005, Chikvayidze, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia expressed their attitude on the adoption of the Anti-Secession Law by the National People's Congress (NPC) of China to the Chinese Embassy in Georgia. Georgia has been consistently supporting the principled position of China on the Taiwan issue. Georgia supports China's efforts to oppose separation and safeguard territorial integrity. Georgia's position has never changed and will not change in the future. Georgia fully understands and supports the policies and guidelines of China for national reunification.
