On March 17, 2005, the government of Gabon issued a government communiqué, indicating that the Government of Gabon unconditionally supports the Anti-Secession Law passed by the National People's Congress of China and the Law aims to promote the peaceful reunification of China, maintain the sovereignty, territorial integrity and the fundamental interest of the Chinese nation. The government of Gabon will continue to resolutely pursue the one-China policy.
