At the invitation of His Majesty Bhumibhol Adulyadej, King of the Kingdom of Thailand, Governor-General Michael Jeffery of Australia and Governor-General Sylvia Cartwright of New Zealand, President Hu Jintao will pay a state visit to these three countries from 17 to 27 October. During his visit, President Hu will take part in the 11th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting which will be held from 20 to 21 October in Bangkok.
Prior to that, China's Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing and Vice Minister of Commerce Yu Guangzhou will leave Beijing on October 16 for Thailand to take part in the 15th APEC Ministerial Meeting to be held from 17 to 18 October in Bangkok.
