On June 26, 2010, Chinese President Hu Jintao visited the aircraft factory of Bombardier Inc. in Toronto, Canada.

In the morning, President Hu Jintao, in the company of Peter Van Loan, Canadian Minister of International Trade and Dalton McGuinty, Premier of Ontario, went to visit the aircraft plant of Bombardier Inc., north of Toronto. President Hu was warmly welcomed by Pierre Beaudoin, President and CEO of Bombardier Inc.

President Hu was briefed on the overview of the company and its cooperation with China and then watched video. He also saw the demos displaying main parts of Q400 aircraft and even went aboard a Q400 aircraft and a new Global 5000 jet.

Pierre Beaudoin said President Hu Jintao’s visit was of important significance and he sincerely looked forward to working with China to jointly advance the cooperative relationship featuring mutual trust, mutual benefit and win-win result and push forward the China-Canada relations toward a healthy and sustainable direction.
