He said that the Indonesian government and people extended assistance to the Chinese people immediately after the outbreak of Wenchuan earthquake and dispatched the medical corps composed of more than 20 members to the disaster-hit Wenxian County, Gansu. The members interpreted the great international humanitarian spirit with tangible actions. They not only brought about emergency medical treatment services but also the friendly feelings of the Indonesian people for the Chinese people. He encouraged the members to continue to support China-Indonesia friendship and extended welcome to them to visit China again.
According to the corps members, they established brotherly friendship with their Chinese counterparts and the local people after one month of carrying out relief in China.
