On September 7, 2011, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with Turkmenistan's First Deputy Foreign Minister Vepa Hajiyev, who is here in China for the first session of the Security Cooperation Subcommittee of the China-Turkmenistan Cooperation Committee and consultations between the two Foreign Ministries. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral ties, pragmatic cooperation in all areas as well as other international and regional issues of common concern.
