On November 22, the United Nations Women's Guild held its 35th session of charity bazaar at Palais des Nations. About 70 missions, including the Mission of China, attended the bazaar. All the earnings of the bazaar are to be donated to the projects for the children in proverty and those handicaped around the world.

Headed by Ambassador Sha Zukang's wife, Minister Counselor Liu Jinfeng, all the women of the Chinese Mission took an active part in the bazaar. Meanwhile, the men diplomats also gave a big hand for this activity.

The handicrafts and the foods prepared by the Mission of China were warmly welcomed by the visitors. The Mission donated its earnings, altoether 2500 CHF (about 16000RMB) to the United Nations Women's Guild.
