On March 25 the 3rd Bangladesh Chinese Education Exhibition was held in Dhaka. Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh, H. E. Mr. Zheng Qingdian, Director General of UN Wing of Bangladesh Foreign Ministry, Mr. Masud Momen and Deputy Secretary General of China Scholarship Council, Mr. Wu Liansheng attended the opening ceremony.

In his speech, Ambassador Zheng said that with China's rapid economic growth, the quality of Chinese higher education is also increasing. The Education Exhibition will further promote Sino-Bangladesh exchange and cooperation in the field of education.

Director General Masud expressed that the contact and exchange between the two countries date back to the ancient times. Chinese higher education is recognized by more and more countries. It is advisable for Bangladesh youth to study in China and learn from China.

Hosted by China Scholarship Council, assisted by Bangladesh North South University (NSU), the exhibition was attended by 19 universities from China and Confucius Institute of NSU.
