On 6 March 2009, H.E. LIU Jianchao, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of the Philippines, arrived at Manila. He was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Rodriguez, Acting Deputy Chief of Protocol of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, Counselor Deng Xijun and other senior diplomats of the Chinese Embassy as well as representatives of Filipino-Chinese Community.
