President of Republic of Liberia Participated in the Turning-over Ceremony of the Chinese-aided Camp Tubman Military Barracks

On 28 April 2009, Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of Republic of Liberia, together with Chinese Ambassador in Liberia Zhou Yuxiao, participated in the turning-over ceremony of the Chinese-aided Camp Tubman Military Barracks in Bong County.

The Barracks occupies an area of 12 hectares and covers a floor space of 11,763 square meters. The project includes the rehabilitation of 12 dilapidated old buildings, the construction of 21 new buildings, provision of two generators, a water pump and basic furniture for 500 officers and men.

At the same day, President Sirleaf and Ambassador Zhou also jointly broke ground for the Chinese-aided Agricultural Technology Demonstration Center in Bong County.
