On May 7th, 2009, H.E. Mr. Zhang Junsai, the Chinese Ambassador to Australia, gave a briefing on China for delegates of APSC-Australian Public Service Commission prior to their trip to China.

Ambassador Zhang expressed his appreciations for the positive trend toward a comprehensive development of China-Australia relations. He showed his willingness to make joint efforts together with the Australian counterparts in pushing the bilateral relations to a new high. He briefed the delegates on China's various measures to get over the current financial crisis. And, he reiterated China's views about its peaceful development road and China's efforts in advancing the peaceful development within the Asia-Pacific regions as well as in the world as a whole.

The delegates appreciated Ambassador Zhang's introductions through which they got a better understanding of China's domestic and international policies.
