Today Ambassador Su Ge was briefed on the concept and the progress of construction work of the Icelandic pavilion at Shanghai EXPO. Mr. Pétur Ásgeirsson, Director General of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Iceland, whose department is in charge of Iceland´s participation in the Shanghai EXPO next year, referred the theme of Icelandic pavilion as ´Pure Energy, Healthy Living. 'It was designed as a showcase of the purity and nature of Iceland, and so far everything has been going smoothly', elaborated Mr. Ásgeirsson.

While complimenting on the efforts of Icelandic Government in preparing for Shanghai EXPO, Ambassador Su spoke positively of the design and concept. 'Through the ice-cube design, the uniqueness of Iceland is well presented'. Ambassador Su wished Iceland good success at Shanghai EXPO.
