Consul General Gao said, the Holocaust occurred more than 60 years ago was a terrible tragedy of human history. All peace loving nations and peoples should take history as a mirror and stick to the themes of peaceful development and cooperation to practice mutual respect and mutual understanding, take each other as good neighbors and achieve common prosperity. We should never again let the terrible tragedy repeat itself. The Chinese people uphold peace and justice ever since ancient times. Mr. Ho Feng-Shan's braveness and internationalism was a reflection of this tradition. China has made great sacrifices and significant contributions to the final victory of World War II. Regional instabilities and conflicts are still threatening the global peace and regional security. China is ready to join hands with peoples from all over the world to exert its utmost efforts towards building a more harmonious, peaceful and prosperous world.
