On 22 February, Ambassador Zhang Junsai met in Sydney a group of over 20 key members from the Australian Shanghai Culture Festival Expo Promotion Week Incorporated, an organization established in 2005 by the Chinese communities in Australia dedicated to the promotion of the Shanghai World Expo. The group was led by Xianju Ding, Executive Chairman of the organization.

Ambassador Zhang commended the work done by the Australian Shanghai Culture Festival Expo Promotion Week Incorporated over the years, and hoped it would make new contribution to friendly cooperation between China and Australia. Ambassador also talked about recent developments in China-Australia relations.

Chairman Ding thanked Ambassador and the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Australia for their consistent support to the organization, and briefed Ambassador on the organization's work and future plan. He reaffirmed the organization would make further efforts for China-Australia friendship and people-to-people exchanges.
