Museum CCTV(DVR) System from China officially handed over to Nepal

On February 23, 2010, the Ceremony for the Official Handover of Close Circuit Television (CCTV) and Digital Video Recorder (DVR) System from Chinese government to the government of Nepal was held in National Museum of Nepal, Kathmandu.

Mr. Qiu Guohong, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Nepal, Mr. Mirendra Rijal, Minister of Federal Affairs, CA, Parliamentary Affairs and Culture, Mr. Bishnuraj Karki, Director General of the Archaeology Department, Mr. Dortel, Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Mr. Paudyal, Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office, and Mr. Dahal, President of the National Museum of Nepal attended the Ceremony.

The Museum CCTV (DVR) System, highly appreciated by the Nepali side, was delivered by the Chinese government to upgrade the administration of the Museum with latest technology, and moreover, to support the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage and relics of Nepal.
