On 4th March 2010, the first Chinese Film Festival opened in Harare, Zimbabwe. Zimbabwean Minister of Education, Sports, Arts and Culture Mr. Coltart, Deputy Ambassador of the Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe Mr. He Meng, and over 600 other government officials and students attended the opening ceremony.
