On March 16, Ambassador He Yafei met with Micheal Jarraud, the Secretary General of World Meteorological Organization. Ambassador He spoke highly of the work of WMO and the Secretary General himself. Mr. Jarraud lauded on China's remarkable achievements in the area of Meteorology and the vital role of China in WMO. Both sides agreed to make concerted efforts to promote the international meteorological cooperation.
