On July 9, Consul General Gao Yanping met with CEO of Main & Main Texas Real Estate Fund, LTD. Howard Heald in the office building of the Chinese Consulate General in Houston. Commercial Counsellor Yao Wenliang, Consul Wang Peijun and Consul Li Zhuang of the Chinese Consulate General and Chief Financial Officer Ralph Reed, Chief Legal Officer London O'Dowd of Main & Main Texas Real Estate Fund, LTD were present.

Consul General Gao briefed the guests with the latest developments of China-U.S. relations and stressed that a healthy and stable China-U.S. relationship helps to bring more opportunities for the mutual beneficial exchanges and cooperation between China and Texas in all fields. Since this year, Governor of Texas, Mayor of San Antonio and Mayor of Houston have consecutively visited China and attended the Shanghai World Expo, bringing new opportunities for the further development of China-Texas relations.
