On 27 July 2010, H. E. Ambassador Liu Xinsheng met with Mr. Robert Kasenene, the acting secretary general of United Nations Association of Tanzania (UNAT) in the Chinese Embassy.

Mr. Kasenene expressed his thankfulness for the meeting and introduced the coming two charity plans, "Make It Happen" charity walk and "the UN Night for Tanzania" dinner, which will be held by UNAT in September. He said the raised fund will be used for commonweal.

Ambassador Liu praised UNAT's role as a bridge between Tanzanian people and the UN. He said such activities are helpful for increasing the understanding of the UN for Tanzanians as well as promoting the cause of charity.
