Ambassador Kuang Meets with Sierra Leonean President Koroma

2011/03/23

On March 22, 2011, Chinese Ambassador Kuang Weilin met with Sierra Leonean President H.E. Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma at State House. Ambassador Kuang said that he was very honored to be able to meet with the President for the third time within 3 months since he came to the country, which demonstrates the level of the increasingly stronger bilateral relations between China and Sierra Leone. This year is a year of celebration for the governments and peoples of the two countries, because it marks not only the 50th anniversary of the independence of Sierra Leone, but also the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries. Both sides should seize this opportunity to strengthen friendly cooperation in various fields.
