On May 31, Chinese Ambassador Kuang Weilin made a courtesy call on Sierra Leonean Minster of Education, Science and Technology Dr. Minkailu Bah. Ambassador Kuang said that education plays an important role in the economic and social development of Sierra Leone, and that China is willing to share its experience with the country, to further deepen exchanges and cooperation in education, science and technology between the two countries.

Minister Bah commended China for the support and help it has provided to the education sector of Sierra Leone over the years. He said that Sierra Leone still has a long way to go in terms of education development and is willing to strengthen cooperation with China in education, science and technology.
