On October 2^nd, Ambassador Gao Yanping met in the Israeli Foreign Ministry with Mr. Avigdor Lieberman, Israeli Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister. Mr. Miao Deyu, Political Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy, Ms. Ruth Kahanoff, Deputy Director General of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, and Mr. Benny Sharoni, Political Adviser to Foreign Minister Lieberman were present. 

Foreign Minister Lieberman welcomed Ambassador Gao's assumption of her post, and wished her all the best during her tenure in Israel
