On December 18th, Ambassador Gao Yanping met in Tel Aviv with Mr. Moshe Ben-Yaacov, former Ambassador of Israel to the People's Republic of China.

Ambassador Gao highly appreciated Ambassador Yaacov's contribution to Sino-Israel relations and emphasized that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, mutual understanding, mutual respect and mutual trust have been enhanced continuously, fruitful achievements were fulfilled in the exchanges and cooperation between the two countries. She expressed the hope that Ambassador Yaacov would continue to contribute to the deepening of mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples and promoting the healthy and stable development of the bilateral relations.

Ambassador Yaacov fondly recalled his unforgettable days spent in China when he served as Ambassador to China. He said that China is an important part of his life and he will continuously make every effort to contribute to the Sino-Israel relationship.

Ambassador Gao and Ambassador Yaacov also exchanged views on other issues of common interest.
