On December 15, 2011, Ambassador Yang Houlan met with Mr. Ram Chandra Pyasi Kushawaha, Secretary of Democratic Madheshis' Organization affiliated to CPN (UML) and member of Constituent Assembly of Nepal, and Mr. Gopal Thakur, CA member of CPN (UML), President of Language & Folklore Forum, Nepal and General Secretary of Progressive Writers' Association, Nepal. Both sides had a friendly talk on China-Nepal friendship.

Mr. Kushawaha briefed his experience of visiting China last month, and said he had got a deep expression by the achievements of China's development. He said ranks and files of Nepali society including Madhes people hoped to know more about China, learn the experience of China's development and strengthen and prompt the traditional friendship with Chinese people and Communist Party of China.

Ambassador Yang said China and Nepal are traditional friendly neighbors and CPC and CPN (UML) had always maintained good party-to-party relations. The Chinese side would like to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation in every field with all parties of Nepal so as to consolidate and deepen Comprehensive Cooperative Partnership featuring ever-lasting friendship between China and Nepal.
