On December 24, 2011, H.E. Mr. Yang Houlan, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, visited Siddhipur Village, Lalitpur District. Ambassador Yang held discussion with the leaders of the village to get local information, and communicated with them about cooperation in various fields. The Nepali side expressed their wish to strengthen the agricultural cooperation.

When Ambassador Yang entered the village, the villagers who were waiting began to beat drums and sound gongs, and send him auspicious Hadas and flower rings. They waved the national flags of Nepal and China to warmly welcome Ambassador Yang. The whole village is decorated with the two national flags and slogans such as "Long Live Nepal-China Friendship", "Welcome Ambassador Yang Houlan to Siddhipur", full of the atmosphere of China-Nepal friendship.
