On March 3rd, H.E. Mme. Gao Yanping, Chinese Ambassador to Israel, hosts a reception in celebrating the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Israel and the Chinese Spring Festival. More than 300 guests were present, including overseas Chinese and representatives of Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese students. Mrs. Yang Yueming, Counselor of the Embassy, presided over the reception.

Ambassador Gao pointed that, in the year 2011, facing complex international situation and arduous tasks in continuing domestic reforms, development and stability, Chinese people have united in their undertakings.They have continued to promote reform and opening-up as well as the socialist modernization drive and maintained a stable and relatively fast economic growth. New progress has also been made in building a well-off society in an all-round way. The year 2012 is the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Israel.In the last 20 years, political relations between two countries have become more and more mature, economic and trade relations have been improved steadily, pragmatic cooperation has boomed rapidly, friendship between the two peoples has deepened.

Ambassador Gao extended her heartfelt gratitude to the overseas Chinese in Israel for their long time efforts and support for the exchanges and cooperation between China and Israel in various fields. She extended her best Sping Festival wishes to all the overseas Chinese in Israel.

Mr. Liu Kun, a student representing overseas Chinese and Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese students in Israel, delivered a warm speech .Wherever, they are always the descendants of dragon, and will make a strong and prosperous China and promote the friendship between China and Israel by hard working and studying.
