Ambassador Kuang Accepts Interview by Sierra Leonean Broadcasting Cooperation

On February 29, Chinese Ambassador Kuang Weilin gave an interview to Sierra Leonean Broadcasting Cooperation at the Embassy. During the interview, he answered questions on the bilateral relations, the work of the Chinese Medical Team as well as cooperation in other areas between the two countries.
Ambassador Kuang Gives Interview Ambassador Kuang said that China has sent 15 batches of doctors to Sierra Leone since 1973 and that the Chinese doctors have provided free medical services for tens of thousands of patients, carried out numerous operations and conducted training for local doctors and nurses, making their contribution to the progress of health care in the country. Their dedication and professionalism are highly recognized by the government and people of the country. Ambassador Kuang emphasized that China and Sierra Leone enjoy profound friendship, which is bound to grow with time. China is willing to share its experience of development with Sierra Leone and continue to provide support and assistance to the country as its capacity permits.
