On 26th February, Ambassador Gao Yanping met with MK David Rotem, Chairman of the Israel-China Friendship League in the Knesset. Counselor Dai Yuming of the embassy among others was present.

Ambassador Gao expressed her appreciation to Mr. Rotem for his support for the long-term friendly cooperation between the Chinese and the Israeli people. She said that 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations is a milestone in the history of bilateral relations, hoping Mr. Rotem would continue to make his contribution to promote mutual friendly cooperation relations, and actively participate in the series of celebrations and commemorations for the 20th anniversary.

MK Rotem said that Sino-Israeli relations is very important, as an old friend of the Chinese people, he would like to continue to put efforts with Chinese side to further promote mutual bilateral relations by executing the series of celebrations of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Gao exchanged views with MK Rotem on other issues of common interest.
