On March 1, Ambassador Liu Zhenmin met with Mr. Juan Somavia, Director General of the International Labor Organization. Ambassador Liu highlighted the important role played by the ILO in promoting Decent Work Agenda and responding to the challenges brought about by the crisis. Mr. Somavia congratulated Ambassador Liu on taking the new post and commended the remarkable achievements of China in the field of employment and social security.
