H.E. Ambassador Yang Houlan Attends an Interaction Program in Lamabagar

On 2 March, 2012, H.E. Ambassador Yang Houlan visited Lamabagar, close to the border with China's Tibet, and received warmly welcome from the local people.

Yang attended an interaction program in Lamabagar. Over 100 people attended the program including political party leaders, CA members, Nepal-China Himalayan Friendship Society, people from Lamabagar and 13 neighboring villages and media persons.

The attendants highly appreciated the development of Nepal-China traditional friendship and mutually-benefit cooperation in their address. They also expressed their expectation of the future development of bilateral relations and more road links in border areas.

Yang reviewed the history of China-Nepal friendly relations and looked ahead its visions. He said that the stability and development in Lamabagar and its neighboring areas is in the interest of both Chinese and Nepali sides. The Chinese side is willing to make joint efforts with the Nepali side to enhance the traditional friendship and win-win cooperation. Yang also inaugurated the community building for Lamabagar.
