H.E. Ambassador Yang Houlan Meets with Mr. Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai, CDO of Dolakha

On 1 March, 2012, H.E. Ambassador Yang Houlan visited Nepal's northern Dolakha District, which shares the border with China's Tibet. Yang met with Mr. Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai, Chief District Officer of Dolakha in Charikot, the capital town of Dolakha.
Bhattarai and the local people extended their warm welcome to Yang and his delegation. They said that Dolakha shares the border with China's Tibet. The two sides have close ties in trade and culture since ancient times. The people living in border areas have traditional friendship. As China's economy is developing rapidly, Dolakha wishes to have more road links with China and enhance the cooperation in various fields, to share the fast development of China and achieve mutual development.
Yang said that China and Nepal are friendly neighbors linked by mountains and rivers. The friendly exchanges between border areas are an important part of China-Nepal relations. The Chinese side attaches great importance to the friendly relations with Dolakha, and will continue to promote the friendly and mutually-benefit cooperation between the two sides, to maintain the stability and development in China-Nepal border areas.
