On 28 February, 2012, H.E. Ambassador Yang Houlan met with Mr. Mrigendra Bikram Thapa, CEO of the Magazine "Light of Asia" and Mr. Rishikesh Bhattarai, Executive Editor of Light of Asia. Yang gave an interview on China-Nepal relations, etc.

Thapa stated that Light of Asia always attaches great importance to Nepal-China relations. We are firmly against any forces to use Nepali soil to conduct anti-China activities, and support the economic, cultural and religious cooperation between the two countries.

Yang said that news and media sector plays an important role in bilateral relations. Owing to the joint efforts made by Nepal's various friendly media such as Light of Asia, we are much more confident for the further enhancement of the friendship between our two peoples, and the promotion of China-Nepal Comprehensive Partnership of Cooperation.
