H.E. Ambassador Yang Houlan Meets the Minister for Local Development of Nepal

On 21 March, 2012, H.E. Ambassador Yang Houlan met with Hon. Mr. Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, the Minister for Local Development of Nepal. The two sides exchanged their views on the issues such as Chinese investment to Nepal.
Rayamajhi said that Nepal and China are traditional friendly neighbors. After Chinese Premier Wen's official visit to Nepal at the beginning of this year, Nepal-China relations has been further promoted. Nepal is nearly to finish writing the new constitution and is going to develop the infrastructure, industry and commerce. He hoped that more Chinese Companies will invest Nepal's agriculture, hydropower and tourism sectors.
Yang said that Nepal has large potential in hydropower, tourism and agriculture. The vision of developing is very promising. Chinese Companies have positive attitude to invest in Nepal. When Chinese Premier Wen was conducting an official visit in Nepal, he also encouraged more qualified Chinese Companies to invest and develop business in Nepal. Yang hoped that the two sides can make joint efforts to create a good environment for Chinese investors in Nepal, and continue to promote the mutually-benefit cooperation between the two countries.
