On March 27, Ambassador LIU Zhenmin met with Professor Klaus Schwab, Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Ambassador Liu highly commended the role WEF and Professor Schwab have played in promoting dialogues and cooperation among people from various circles of the world and in shaping global agendas. He said China is ready to work together with WEF to strengthen the all-round cooperation between China and WEF.

Professor Schwab extended his welcome to Ambassador Liu and said WEF attaches great importance to China's role and hopes to further advance its cooperation with China.

They also exchanged views on the current world economic situation, the coming Summer Davos to be held in September this year in Tianjin, China.
