On March 27, Chinese Ambassador KUANG Weilin went on SLBC Radio and TV live programs "Tea Break" and "Good Morning Sierra Leone" respectively to talk about the 40th anniversary of Chinese Medical Team in Sierra Leone. A TV documentary was shown to mark the event the same day.

Ambassador Kuang emphasized that the cooperation in public health care is an important component of the bilateral relations and the Chinese medical teams have made great contribution to the development of health care in Sierra Leone and the friendship between the two countries. He said that China is committed to further strengthening practical cooperation with Sierra Leone in various fields, including public health care.
