Dr. Muscat: Labour Party Shall Make the Most of the Friendly Relations with China

'The Labour Party cherishes the special friendship and shall take a hard approach to strengthen the fruitful cooperation and exchanges in all fields with China ', promised Dr. Joseph Muscat, Leader of the Labour Party when he received a courtesy call by Chinese Ambassador Cai Jinbiao on 3rd April. Expressing deep proud of the far-sighted decision of then Labour government 40 years ago to establish diplomatic relations with China, Dr. Muscat showed his strong confidence that time has demanded the Labour Party to show dedication and determination as ever to foster an all-front tangible relations with China both on bilateral and EU level. Ambassador Cai thanked the Labour Party for all-time friendship and highly appreciated the strong foundation for bilateral relationship laid by the Labour government. Cai reciprocated his commitments to work jointly with Labour Party and all circles of Maltese society during his tenure to further explore novel potentials in all fields for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.
