On April 17, Chinese Ambassador KUANG Weilin met with Sierra Leonean Minister of Finance Hon. Dr. Samura Kamara and Minister of Transport Hon. Mr. Vandi Minah respectively. During the meetings, they had in-depth exchange of views on further promoting practical cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Kuang emphasized that with the further development of the friendly bilateral relations between the two countries, China and Sierra Leone face historic opportunities to expand and deepen cooperation in various fields. China is willing to work more closely with Sierra Leone for better and stronger bilateral relations.

Minister Kamara praised the great achievements that China has made in its development and hoped that China can play a more important role in the economic and social development in Sierra Leone.

Minister Minah expressed gratitude to China for its support and assistance to the country over the years and looked forward to strengthening cooperation with China in developing transport infrastructure in Sierra Leone.
