From January 4 to 7, 2010, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister He Yafei visited Hong Kong and Macao and inspected the work of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) and the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR). During his visit, He met with Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Donald Tsang Yam-kuen, Chief Secretary for Administration of Hong Kong SAR Henry Tang Ying-yen, Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region Fernando Chui Sai On and Secretary for Administration and Justice of Macao SAR Florinda da Rosa Silva Chan. He thanked the two SAR Governments for their strong support to the work of the Chinese Foreign Ministry and the Offices of the Commissioner and exchanged views on enhancing communication with the SAR Governments and increasing the SAR's exchanges and cooperation with other countries and regions.
