On June 30, 2011, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun met with a Japanese Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) delegation made up of members of the National Diet headed by, Yasufumi Tanahashi, Director-General of LDP's International Bureau. Both sides exchanged views on China-Japan relations and other issues.
